Air Conditioners

Water dripping from outdoor unit is normal and mainly due to condensation or evaporation process during refrigeration cycle. Water condensates in compressor accumulator or valves when air conditioner operates at a lower temperature. Water will drip down to the base of the outdoor unit when the compressor is cut off. Hence, it is normal to have water dripping from the outdoor unit.

The blower and coil may be dirty.
OR, the noise may come from the vibration due to uneven wall surface or a glass partition or a thin plywood partition, where the compressor operating noise could be easily transmitted into the room (with reference to the room air conditioner and the outdoor unit).

Please check the following:
Is there water flowing out from the drain pipe?
Is the water leaking from the front side?
If the answer to above questions is "No" and "Yes" respectively, please call for air conditioner cleaning.
The drain pipe is blocked with jelly like mixture of water and dirt.

1. Power off the indoor unit to standby mode using the remote control.
2. Open the front cover and pull out the indoor filter to clean.
3. Put back the filter and press "Swing" button on the remote control.

*All models need to be reset every 200 hours.

The drainage could have been blocked due to some dirt being accumulated in the drainage pipe.
OR, the air conditioner is dirty.
OR, there is insufficient refrigerant.
OR, poor gradient of drainage pipe.
OR, drainage pipe was installed in a restricted environment for too long.
