Hitachi Is With You

Hitachi Sales Malaysia has launched the "Hitachi Penang Flood Aid Program" from 8 Nov until 30 November to help Hitachi users affected by the recent Penang floods. Those affected by the floods can send their home appliances to specific stores for free inspections and checks. Damaged appliances with original parts can be replaced at a 15% discount while appliances that require repair can be done at a 50% discount on labour charges.

In a statement issued today, General Manager of Hitachi Sales Malaysia, Steven Lim said:

"The people of Penang are in urgent need of assistance. The company hopes that this initiative will help those affected by the floods in little ways.

"Hitachi has been in Malaysia for 45 years. In this unfortunate disaster, we tell the victims affected: Hitachi is with you!"

With the "Hitachi Penang Flood Aid Program", flood victims are able to refurnish their home with the choices of two Hitachi washing machines and three Hitachi refrigerators at special prices.

He expressed deep sympathy for the victims in Penang and hoped that the victims who are still in the aid center would be able to return home and rebuild their homes as soon as possible.
